Recruiting Coordinator
Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our global Recruiting team. In this role, you will manage scheduling and logistics to provide a first-class interview experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. You will be part of a small team overseeing all operational aspects of hiring and will work closely with recruiters to manage candidate flow across multiple teams.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building and improving workflows and team structure. You are highly organized and process-driven.
Responsibilities
- Schedule a high volume of interviews using our scheduling platform (GoodTime) and manual coordination as needed
- Engage and communicate directly with candidates, leaders, managers, recruiters, and interviewers
- Greet candidates during onsite interviews (both in-person and virtual), answer questions, and ensure they are prepared for the day
- Provide real-time support during onsite interviews by managing interviewer flow and troubleshooting issues
- Keep hiring teams and candidates informed throughout the recruiting process
- Gather requirements for new jobs and open requisitions in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
- Support ad hoc recruiting projects by finding solutions, advancing initiatives, updating stakeholders, and collaborating with team members
- Identify, execute, and implement improvements to recruiting processes
- Assist with organizing and attending recruiting conferences and career fairs
- Maintain and develop relationships with candidates regardless of hiring outcomes
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in recruiting or HR-related fields
- Ability to attend in-person at least 3 days per week, with flexibility for additional days to support in-person recruiting activities
- Experience improving and implementing process changes
- Familiarity with GoodTime, Greenhouse, and Google Suite preferred
- Professionalism in interactions with candidates and internal team members
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ambitious with a strong desire to make an impact
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Tactful problem-solving with directness and integrity
- Positive influence and collaborative team player
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining urgency
The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year, based on skills and experience. This role is also eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
