Your Team, Your Impact

The CCDS CAD team within Marvell Central Engineering Organization is seeking a qualified intern candidate to work in a team environment to develop AMS/Optics CAD automation processes to enhance development efficiency. In this position, the intern will learn the skills required for CAD automation developments in pre-silicon environments.

What You Can Expect

• Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of CAD methodologies, design flows, and automation tools for Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) and Photonics/Optics IC design.
• Develop Python, SKILL, TCL, and other scripting solutions to improve design productivity, automation, and flow integration.
• Assist in creating and maintaining PDK-related utilities, design environment setup, verification, and AI-Assisted design flows.
• Work closely with analog and optics design engineers to understand design challenges and develop effective CAD solutions.
• Debug and resolve issues related to design environments, simulation setups, LVS, DRC, PEX, and reliability verification flows.
• Support the APAC region (Singapore, Vietnam, India, Taiwan), inclusive of US timezone.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC design concepts, semiconductor devices, and IC design methodologies.
• Knowledge of silicon photonics design is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Python scripting.
• User level knowledge of the Unix operating system.
• Good level of English (spoken and written).
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Eagerness to learn AMS/Optics design domain concepts to understand the scope of the automation.
