Your Team, Your Impact

As a Hardware and Silicon Validation Engineer at Marvell, you will be helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances. This team performs analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. We conduct upper electronic measurements and support the coherent digital signal programming unit. This is a niche area at Marvell, working with cutting-edge technologies used by many internal and external customers around the world.

What You Can Expect

In this onsite role in Singapore, you will work each day in the engineering lab, using high-end electronic equipment to collect data and perform data analysis of results.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for block-level and system-level post-silicon validation of Marvell's Preamp products and standard IP.
• Responsible for conducting functional and performance validation, power analysis, and performing electrical characterization across process, voltage, temperature corners.
• Develop and run automation test scripts for preamp validation and interface with equipment like AWG, Oscilloscope, VNA, DMM, etc.
• Perform rigorous data analysis and generate high-quality test reports for our customers.
• Responsible for debugging issues and coming up with ideas and techniques to isolate the problem.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar with a focus on product performance characterization and hardware validation.
• Python programming/scripting language experience is a plus.
• Completed a project in school or at a previous role would be preferred. You should be able to explain in detail the goal of the project, your role in it, and how any issues were solved.
• Be ready to work with many different people for a common team goal. Be a strong communicator, providing your team with updates, asking questions when necessary, and keeping everyone informed.
