Your Team, Your Impact

The Failure Analysis (FA) team at Marvell owns the entire Failure Analysis process for both customer returns and internal qualification and production support. This team works closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform root cause analysis and drive necessary corrective and preventive actions.

What You Can Expect

• Learn how to operate basic failure analysis tools, including optical/IR microscope, SAM, and curve tracer tools for daily failure analysis support.
• Support RMA failure analysis efforts through cross-functional collaboration and assist in FA 8D report writing.
• Learn the basic operations of the SAM tool and help build a reference profile database.
• Learn the GDS-to-Avalon layout conversion process, and contribute to automating the workflow and exploring its applications.
• Build and optimize FA dashboards.

What We're Looking For

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Material Science, or related fields.
• Experience with failure analysis tools (optical microscope, SAM, etc.).
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supply).
• Basic scripting skills, including AI-assisted scripting, are a plus.
• Prior hands-on lab experience is a plus; candidates should be curious, proactive, and eager to learn hands-on failure analysis techniques.
• Self-motivated with strong collaboration skills in a team environment.
