Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, testing, and supporting data pipelines on CapitaLand’s Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
• Support data processing tasks for various business use cases across the organization.
• Assist in preparing and organizing datasets to support internal and business stakeholders.
• Help with documentation, data quality checks, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Must-have Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of Python or Java, with hands-on experience applying object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts through academic or internship projects.
• Willingness to learn and explore new tools and technologies related to data engineering and analytics infrastructure.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.

Good-to-have Requirements

• Familiarity with SQL (e.g., Spark SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Exposure to cloud-based data engineering platforms and big data tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark, or Hive (a plus, but not required).
