About hyperexponential (hx)

At hyperexponential, we are building the AI-powered platform that enables the world's most critical decisions in the $7 trillion insurance industry, particularly focusing on risk assessment and pricing. These are decisions that shape real-world outcomes, such as successful rocket launches, autonomous vehicle market entry, or community recovery after major storms.

Until now, insurance has relied on outdated tools for billion-dollar decisions. We are changing that. Our platform integrates data, AI, and human expertise to provide insurers with the fastest path from submission to decision—helping them move faster, act smarter, and take on more risk with confidence.

Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we are scaling globally and are already trusted by nearly 50 of the world's largest insurers, accounting for billions in premiums flowing through hx. What started as a single product in one market has rapidly evolved into a multi-product, multi-territory platform powering every stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is core to our work, ranging from building the world's first domain-specific AI peer programmer for insurance (think GitHub Copilot with a PhD in actuarial science) to shaping agentic workflows that reinvent the industry.

What makes hx different is the team that builds it. Here, impact is defined by the challenges you take on and the discipline you bring, not by title or tenure. Surrounded by peers who stretch you, you will do some of the best, hardest work of your life in a company engineered to endure.

If that sounds like you, join us in building what comes next.

About the Client Education Team

The success of every hx customer depends on their teams knowing how to use our platform effectively—not just how to navigate it, but how to build genuinely good pricing models with it. Client Education makes this happen. We sit at the intersection of Product, Partnerships, and Customer teams, transforming new features and platform capabilities into usable training, certification materials, and documentation for our clients and delivery partners.

This team owns the full learning journey: onboarding new clients, building certification pathways, producing courses and video content, and supporting partners who deliver training on our behalf. As hx's product surface expands—including our Decision Engine, Pricing & Rating, Portfolio Intelligence, Submission Triage, and our AI agents—the volume and complexity of what we need to teach has grown, and we are expanding the team to keep pace.

We are looking for a Client Education Associate to be a core part of this effort. Your focus will be delivering technical training directly to clients and partners, and supporting the team in building and maintaining the courses and certifications that enable that training. You will need sufficient technical grounding to be credible in front of actuaries and developers, coupled with a strong teaching instinct to make complex material understandable.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver technical training sessions, both live and online, to clients and partners, covering everything from platform fundamentals to building pricing models using hx's AI agents and product tooling.
  • Build and maintain high-quality course content (online modules, video tutorials, workshop materials) that evolves alongside new product releases and changing client needs.
  • Support the design and delivery of certification assessments, including practical exercises where candidates build real pricing tools within the hx platform.
  • Partner with Product, Customer, and Partnerships teams to translate new features into immediately usable training materials for clients.
  • Contribute to our partner enablement program, helping external delivery partners onboard effectively and deliver hx training to a consistent, high standard.
  • Help maintain and improve our content governance processes, flagging materials that have become outdated or are inconsistent with current product naming and messaging.

What You'll Need to Have Done

  • Delivered training, workshops, or technical explanations to non-technical or semi-technical audiences, and can provide examples of material you have created or taught.
  • Studied Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or demonstrated equivalent hands-on comfort with programming languages (such as Python) through experience.
  • Worked hands-on with SaaS tools, APIs, or similar technical products, even without a formal software engineering background.
  • Demonstrated initiative in building or improving a course, process, or piece of learning content, rather than simply following pre-defined structures.
  • Communicated confidently and clearly with clients or external stakeholders, expertly adjusting the technical depth to suit the specific audience.
  • Thrived in an environment where scope frequently shifts, demonstrating the ability to proactively find solutions rather than waiting for a fully defined brief.

You're Unlikely to Thrive Here If

  • You prefer following a rigid curriculum over building and adapting training materials as the product continuously changes.
  • You are uncomfortable engaging directly with technical concepts and tooling, even at a foundational level.
  • You prefer isolating your work rather than collaborating across Product, Customer, and Partnerships teams to ensure training accuracy.

If reading our Culture Document leaves you feeling neutral rather than energized, hx may not be the best fit. We are building something that demands commitment and conviction, and we want you to be excited by the opportunity to grow with us.

If you are energized by complexity and motivated to grow, we encourage you to apply and join our global team.
