The Role

As Operations Manager, you will build and run the operational backbone of General Intuition and Medal. You will own contract lifecycles, document management, support teams with compliance and due diligence, and use AI to automate as much of that work as possible.

This is a builder's role. You will handle critical day-to-day operations with thoughtfulness and precision. You will have insight into how a fast-growing company is built, including investor relations, equity management, HR, and compliance, across both GI and Medal. For someone ambitious and sharp, this role offers significant room to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage company document organization, track all obligations and deadlines within agreements, and proactively flag upcoming due dates.
• Lead document production necessary for due diligence, audits, and investor requests.
• Drive compliance workstreams, including SOC 2, ISO, and government certifications. Own the documentation and evidence collection required to keep the company audit-ready.
• Build tools to automate operations team tasks to increase velocity and precision.

Qualifications

• You have previous experience building an agent or implementing automation. You look at manual workflows and immediately consider how to automate them using tools like Claude and other LLMs. While an engineering background is not required, you should understand the possibilities of modern automation.
• You possess extreme attention to detail. You catch misspelled names, missing commas, or inconsistent dates on the first pass, every time. In this role, 100% accuracy is the standard.
• You have 1 to 4 years of experience in a high-precision environment, such as a paralegal role at a top law firm, investment banking, consulting, or legal/compliance operations at a startup. Legal operations experience is a plus; deep legal expertise is not required.
• You are driven, ambitious, and eager to learn. You are excited to take on new projects as the company grows, whether it involves legal research, broader operations, or undefined new initiatives.
