Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets Analyst

Job Overview

Responsible for advising investment grade corporate and institutional clients on capital structure strategy, acquisition financing, liability management, investor outreach, and market approach. This role provides ongoing market insights regarding the impact of changing macro and micro market conditions. The position requires building and maintaining relationships with senior client and prospect personnel and collaborating with bankers and product partners to provide coordinated and seamless advice to clients.

The business is organized into "pods," with each pod covering one or more industry sectors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works closely with senior CIB professionals.
• Performs assigned duties with some independence, including but not limited to due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.

• Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) degree.
• Licenses: Series 7, 79, 63.
• Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• 1 year of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary for this position is $105,000.
