Key Job Responsibilities

During your internship, you will tackle real-world business challenges while developing your analytical expertise. You will own projects that directly impact business operations, strengthening your financial acumen and quantitative skills.

This hands-on experience will provide exposure to corporate finance and data analysis. You will also have the opportunity to build artificial intelligence (AI) solutions while working with like-minded, customer-obsessed finance professionals. You will contribute to strategic decision-making, learn from peers and leaders, and gain practical insights into financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

• Analyze financial data and trends to drive cost optimization and operational efficiency.

Your paid internship will last between 3 and 12 months and includes:

Application and Selection Process

Every day will be filled with opportunities to develop new skills and achieve personal growth. Submitting your application takes less than 10 minutes, and cover letters are not required. You will need to attach your CV and answer a questionnaire.

Selected candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment. Successful candidates will then attend two rounds of virtual interviews, which take place on the same day. Interviews consist of behavioral questions and a case study focused on Amazon’s Leadership Principles.

The entire recruitment process typically takes 3 to 4 weeks. The selection process and timelines are subject to change and may vary by role and location.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently in your penultimate or final year of a university degree, with an anticipated graduation date after completing your internship.
• Relevant studies in Economics, Finance, or an applied science discipline, such as Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• Available to commence an internship between January and September 2027, with flexibility to complete a full-time internship of 3 to 12 months at 40 hours per week. Internship length is subject to availability.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English at Level C1 or higher.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, lookups, and VBA.
• Must have the right to work in the country of employment.
• Willing to be based in London for the duration of the internship. A relocation package may be offered, subject to eligibility criteria.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets and present actionable, data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with others and drive solutions to deliver results.
• Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Data visualization skills, including proficiency in Tableau, QlikView, PowerPivot, MicroStrategy, or Amazon QuickSight.
• Knowledge of Oracle, VBA, and MySQL or SQL.
• Basic knowledge of and interest in AI.
