A Day in the Life of a Summer Associate

As a Summer Associate on the Client Service team, you will be the link between our clients and the expert knowledge they seek. These connections may take the form of an hour-long phone call between a client and an expert advisor, a survey, or a written research product.

Throughout the workday, you will manage multiple projects for investors, strategists, and dealmakers at top-tier client organizations seeking expert insights to inform their decision-making. This communications-intensive frontline role requires multitasking across parallel workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client-expert communications, spending a significant part of the day on the phone screening and negotiating with relevant experts to identify the best possible matches for client requests.
• Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools to map complex industry value chains and identify and engage relevant experts.
• Understand the project and market context, as well as the legal and regulatory environment in which clients and experts operate.

Requirements

• Undergraduate junior graduating in 2028.
• Strong academic credentials, with an undergraduate GPA of 3.3 or above.
• Noteworthy extracurricular achievement throughout school and university.
• Internship experience demonstrating an interest in business is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Work authorization in the United States. AlphaSights does not sponsor visas but will consider applicants with STEM/OPT eligibility.
