Payment Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to join our Global Processing team. This role is a unique opportunity to join one of Europe's fastest-growing companies and help millions of potential customers save money by using Wise.

Payment Operations Specialists play a crucial role in supporting the Payment Operations Organization to achieve its vision: the seamless flow of customer funds. By ensuring high-level execution of daily responsibilities and consistently supporting Payment Operations in meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Specialists ensure customers receive their funds faster, 24/7 globally. This role offers a unique chance to learn how different currencies function and to impact customers on a global scale.

Core ownership lies in daily tasks and responsibilities, and the impact is clear and largely achieved collectively with the team. In this role, you will contribute to this mission by:

• Maintaining consistent and high-level execution of daily tasks related to payment processing.
• Supporting your team by meeting role-specific SLAs and KPIs, thereby contributing to the team's main performance metrics.
• Detecting and escalating domain-related problems and complex issues to Regional Payment Operations teams, ensuring timely and relevant communication with stakeholders.
• Following operational procedures and tracking critical updates.
