The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is seeking a Trader for the Foreign Exchange (FX) Derivatives global complex.

Key Responsibilities

As an FX Derivatives Trader, you will be responsible for:

• Managing portfolio risk-management for Asia Emerging Markets FX Derivatives global portfolios in the Asia time-zone.
• Overseeing the execution of client transactions and hedges across a wide range of foreign-exchange markets.
• Quoting the bank’s franchise in the region across a wide range of currencies and derivative products.
• Working closely with Sales and Structuring to identify and nurture new opportunities and relationships with institutional and corporate clients.
• Embarking on project and development initiatives to continually improve efficiency in our pricing, risk management, and trade execution processes.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• 1–4 years of prior work experience in Asia Emerging Markets FX trading within a Tier One financial institution.
• Knowledge of quantitative trading techniques for FX or Macro across both developed and emerging markets.
• Experience with an array of currencies, including Emerging Markets, G10, and derivative products ranging from vanilla to exotic FX options.
• Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Commercial focus, ability to take initiative, and skills to solve complex business problems.
• Team player mentality.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
