We are seeking an Intern to join the European Acquisitions department in London. This internship runs for up to 12 weeks. Interns will provide essential support to the Acquisitions team across financial analysis, presentation preparation, cash flow modelling, investment research, and property reviews. The program includes an intern trip to tour various Harrison Street properties, mentorship from executive leadership, and participation in individual projects.

Responsibilities

  • Excel modelling and presentation development
  • Actively support due diligence and execution of new investments
  • Conduct market research
  • Assist in preparing investment committee recommendation papers
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with partners and external advisors
  • Interface and cooperate with Harrison Street’s internal teams (e.g., portfolio management, asset management, legal, and investor relations)

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with anticipated graduation in Summer 2027 or recently graduated
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, organized individual who is eager to learn
  • Basic Excel modelling skills, including unlevered cash flows
  • Understanding of core financial and return metrics
  • Extensive working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated strong interest in real estate and/or investment roles

Candidates should possess broad-based analytical skills, a strong understanding of Excel, superior communication skills, and proven research abilities. The individual must be a self-starter capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks, changing priorities, and tight deadlines.
