Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and assignments, engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interacting with senior leaders, and networking with employees and interns across our offices. This internship provides realistic experiences of what it is like to work at Guardian.
Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program. We are seeking candidates who are curious, adaptable, and excited to gain exposure to different areas of the Finance and Risk organization.
Internship Details
- Dates: Thursday, May 27, 2027 - Friday, August 6, 2027

What We Are Looking For
You are:
- A current junior (graduation date of May 2028) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions, and thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
You have:
- Proficiency in finance and accounting principles.
- An interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
What You Will Do
You will:
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of various reports, exhibits, schedules, and reconciliations.
- Support the audit and compliance process and maintain process documentation.
- Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members who will coach you as you develop your professional career.
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings.
- Build a network of colleagues and establish a sense of community with other interns and parts of the business.
- Think broadly and ask insightful questions about data, facts, and other information.

Eligibility and Compensation
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders requiring H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
- You must be available for the full program dates of the internship.
Salary Range
$20.00 - $35.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position will ultimately be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
