About the Team
The Release Management team is responsible for ensuring the vital final verifications on press releases, ratings, and relevant disclosures are completed before publishing to the Moody’s websites and the wider market. The team works together to support different lines of business globally in disseminating this information, whilst ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements and that internal control processes are followed. The team contributes to Moody's by helping deliver timely and accurate rating-related information, applying defined quality controls, and providing responsive operational support to rating teams and internal stakeholders. By joining our team, you will help maintain reliable release execution across a global operating environment.
Responsibilities
Support accurate and timely rating publication, press release, disclosure, and dissemination workflows through controlled end-to-end execution.
- Execute end-to-end rating publication, press release, disclosure, and dissemination workflows with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage shared mailboxes and routine requests, ensuring prompt routing, follow-up, and resolution.
- Prioritize and coordinate work across recurring deadlines to maintain workflow continuity and service levels.
- Perform validations and apply controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and readiness of rating-related outputs.
- Resolve standard workflow issues, investigate discrepancies, and escalate non-routine matters when needed.
- Monitor workflow progress, coordinate with analysts and stakeholders, and minimize rework through effective follow-up.
- Identify and escalate data, system, or control-related issues that could impact publication quality or execution.
- Support stakeholder communication, provide workflow coverage during peak periods, and leverage data tools and AI-enabled solutions to enhance productivity.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform end-to-end Press Desk tasks accurately and consistently with limited supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to respond clearly to analysts and internal stakeholders on routine publication and disclosure matters.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines across time-sensitive rating release activities.
- Working knowledge of operational workflows, key controls, quality checkpoints, workflow tools, and tracking reports used to support release execution.
- Sound judgment to resolve standard workflow issues independently, identify discrepancies, and escalate higher-risk or non-routine matters appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; foundational experience using approved artificial intelligence productivity tools, basic data queries, and standard dashboards is desired.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Up to one year of relevant experience in operations, workflow processing, or financial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with operational systems, workflow tools, or tracking platforms is preferred.
