Job Description
The Role
Harris Williams is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant I to serve as the center of communication for a team of investment bankers. This role involves keeping the team organized and running smoothly by managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, and executing the details behind meetings and conferences.
The Executive Assistant will work closely with Operating Support Staff and teammates in a fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities. The successful candidate will be a dependable partner who is ready to contribute wherever needed to help the team succeed.

Core Responsibilities
- Communication Hub: Serve as the center of communication for the team, prepare professional business communications, and act as a point of contact between bankers and the rest of the firm.
- Calendar Management: Manage complex calendars for multiple executives, prioritize schedules, and identify and resolve conflicts.
- Logistics and Travel Coordination: Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Expense and CRM Management: Prepare accurate and timely expense reports and maintain the team’s CRM by logging client contacts and touchpoints to support relationship management and business development.
- Meeting and Conference Execution: Plan and execute meetings and conferences, including conference room reservations, catering, audio/visual requirements, and other essential services.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Operating Support Staff and teammates, contributing wherever needed to keep the team running smoothly.
Qualifications and Experience
Required
- At least two years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to manage extensive calendar and contact management responsibilities.
- Editing and formatting skills in PowerPoint using templates.
Preferred
- Experience managing multiple executive inboxes, prioritizing emails, and responding on a banker’s behalf when appropriate.
- General Excel formula skills for organizing data and developing dashboards.
- Interest in learning the M&A and private capital advisory deal process from pitch to close.
- Familiarity with Concur and CRM systems, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Experience in finance or professional services.
- Comfort using technology, including AI tools, to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Education and Work Experience
