Intern, Asset Operations

This internship opportunity provides meaningful, hands-on learning for selected interns to understand and experience asset management and building operations.

Intern Responsibilities

The intern shall:

• Be fully involved in asset operations, including conducting viewings/visits for prospective tenants and servicing existing tenants regarding their building and space requirements.
• Engage external property consultants such as JLL, CBRE, and Savills to build a strong pipeline of prospective tenants.
• Assist in driving operation excellence by reviewing existing standard operating procedures (such as tenant fit-out guides and leasing processes) to provide valuable ideas for process improvement.
• Seek out new alternative revenue streams for the building, including marketing and placemaking programs, and organize initiatives and events to create a vibrant community and signature activities for the building.
• Plan and execute tenant onboarding, collaborating with the team to achieve set customer satisfaction and net promoter scores.
• Manage tenant engagements during events and while assets undergo enhancement works.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments, including new initiatives as reasonably requested by Headquarters or Department Heads from time to time.

• Be exposed to a strong and wide network of real estate professionals beyond Keppel for their future career.
• Gain a good understanding of leasing and operations processes, creating a strong foundation for a future career in real estate.
• Be equipped with the fundamentals of real estate operations and asset management on the ground, such as revenue, operations, and cost, building the foundation for real estate investment and asset management.

Job Requirements

• Be self-driven and take initiative; be comfortable working with a wide group of people from Keppel and external stakeholders.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Have some understanding of financial modeling.
• Preferably be interested in and have experience in events organizing, placemaking, or online content creation.
