2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk – Agency Accounting
Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a global financial services company. You will gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, participate in projects that directly affect the business, engage with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices.
Interns may have the opportunity to be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship. We are seeking candidates who are curious, adaptable, and excited to gain exposure to different areas of the Finance and Risk organization.
Internship Dates
The internship program will run from Thursday, May 27, 2027 – Friday, August 6, 2027.

You Are
- A current junior (graduation date of May 2028) fueled by collaboration
- Able to listen, make quick decisions, and thrive in a goal-oriented environment

You Have
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program in Accounting and/or Finance
- Interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk, with a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot)
You Will
- Assist with monthly close activities and account reconciliations
- Assist with agency/field-related accounting processes and reporting
- Support testing and documentation of accounting controls and business processes
- Work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will coach you as you develop your professional career
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
- Build a network of colleagues and develop a sense of community with other interns and parts of the business
- Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and other information

Eligibility
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H-1B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
- You must be available for the full program dates of the internship.
Salary Range
$20.00 – $35.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
