Your Team

You will work in the UBS Evidence Lab team in London. The UBS Evidence Lab is a sell-side team of experts that works across specialized areas to create insight-ready datasets by applying tools and techniques to harvest, cleanse, and connect billions of data items each month. The library of assets covers thousands of companies across all sectors and regions and is designed to help answer questions that matter to investment decisions.

Your Expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Is in their penultimate or final year of their bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree.
• Has strong analytic, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills and is intellectually curious.
• Has a fundamental understanding of financial statement analysis.
• Has advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL, R, and Python (preferred).
• Has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative.
• Is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
• Can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
