2027 12-month Industrial Placement - Communication & Marketing- London

Your Role

We’re looking for someone who can help develop communications to employees, clients, and other stakeholders using a variety of channels. Depending on the role you’ll:

• Plan, write, and edit articles for internal websites, newsletters, blogs, social media, and announcements
• Advise and support the best ways to get messages to employees
• Coordinate employee events and develop accompanying communications materials
• Support coordination of employee volunteering activities and the firm’s financial grants to charities and social enterprises
• Manage incoming requests from journalists and work with internal spokespeople to help UBS gain visibility in the media
• Promote UBS research and market views to targeted media outlets
• Arrange events and media interviews with key spokespeople
• Support marketing initiatives that enhance the firm’s brand, reputation, and engagement with key audiences
• Support the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and event content, working with teams across regions and business areas

Your Team

You’ll work within one of our Corporate Communications or Marketing teams and collaborate closely with colleagues across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas to help build and protect our reputation and ensure information is delivered clearly and consistently.

Your Expertise

You need to be completing the Industrial Placement program as part of your studies and then graduating in 2028. You should also be on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in your first undergraduate/bachelor’s degree.

It doesn’t matter what you’re studying. We’d like to see evidence that you can:

• Come up with ideas

Think about how your achievements—such as organizing a fundraising event, taking part in team sports, or persevering to pass an exam in a challenging subject—match these skills.
