Compensation Consulting Intern (Rewards)

Marsh is seeking a talented intern to join its Compensation Consulting team within the People and Investments business. This role is based in Singapore and is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

As an intern, you will support the Rewards team in two key areas: driving business development and product insights for Total Remuneration Surveys (TRS), and providing analytical support for rewards advisory projects. You will work closely with consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver client-ready insights and support rewards solutions across Singapore and the wider SEA region.

You Will Be Expected To

• Support the management of the annual Total Remuneration Surveys (TRS) through review and validation of client data submissions.
• Assist with ad-hoc client data requests and support market outreach activities to promote rewards products and services to existing and potential participants.
• Support the delivery of advisory projects, including job evaluations, salary structure designs, and short- and long-term incentive reviews.
• Conduct targeted research on industry-specific trends, regulatory requirements, and local labour market conditions in Singapore and the wider SEA region.
• Support consultants in preparing and facilitating client workshops or industry-specific meetings by preparing materials, managing documentation, and summarizing key discussion points.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary data and resources for project execution.

What You Need to Have

• Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build dynamic models (e.g., using XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables) to simulate compensation scenarios and cost impacts.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, with an emphasis on creating structured, logical narratives and using data visualizations to simplify complex reward concepts for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to move beyond data processing to identify patterns, provide clear, evidence-based findings, and summarize practical implications.
• Ability to independently navigate public filings (annual reports, 10-Ks), peer group data, and market news to extract specific organizational or executive pay information.
• Available full-time for a minimum of 3 to 6 months, starting from May 2027.
