Evercore Real Estate Strategic Advisory (RESA) – New York Summer Analyst Program

Evercore’s Real Estate Strategic Advisory (“RESA”) group provides comprehensive investment banking advisory and capital raising solutions to private and public real estate-focused companies, sponsors, and investors globally. The group offers a full suite of asset-level to boardroom capabilities and a range of investment banking services across asset and transaction types, including private M&A, recapitalizations, and capital raising for real estate sponsors. The client base includes REITs, financial sponsors, asset managers, real estate developers, and others.

Program Overview

The Evercore New York Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week intensive program designed to provide highly motivated undergraduate students with a representative experience evaluating and developing solutions for mandates including strategic alternatives, mergers & acquisitions, and complex financing execution assignments. These mandates are typically executed on behalf of public and private companies, management teams, or alternative institutional investors.

The Program seeks intelligent, mature individuals who are flexible and interested in working in a boutique environment and learning on the job. Summer Analysts must demonstrate the ability to work on several projects concurrently and have the desire to learn and work hard.

Responsibilities

Summer Analysts will work on a variety of assignments, including:

• M&A
• Continuation vehicles
• Recapitalizations
• Restructurings
• Divestitures
• Joint ventures
• Capital raises

As part of the team assigned to these projects, individuals will be responsible for tasks including:

• Preparing for client meetings
• Financial modeling
• Industry analysis
• Due diligence
• Business development

Specific Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
• Strong academic record coupled with a specific interest in real estate
• Ability to think critically about a range of strategic issues impacting clients
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character with a great work ethic
