About American Express National Bank (AENB)

American Express National Bank (AENB) is American Express’ U.S. bank, representing more than 60% of the company’s revenues through consistent payments, financing, and savings products. The bank issues and underwrites most American Express products in the U.S. and is the only part of our company that accepts deposits from customers.

The team supporting AENB (known as AENB HQ) is responsible for the administration of the bank’s programs and services. The team also serves as enterprise centers of excellence for governance and control functions in the first line of defense—helping business unit teams manage risk in a more effective and efficient way.

Work Model (Amex Flex)
