Department Overview

The Bid and Quote function serves as the operational backbone and commercial conscience of the sales organization. Responsibilities—including Business Forecasting (CORE, COMMITS, LRP), Data Analytics, and Pipeline Management—ensure that sales efforts are visible and strategically aligned with corporate objectives. By managing Pricing and P&L, the function balances market competitiveness with profitability. The mandate for collaboration makes it the critical integrator, translating strategic goals into measurable, profitable execution across the entire commercial lifecycle.

Job Description

• Perform business analytics for product mix (sales and revenue), pricing, and financials trends.
• Develop sustainable, repeatable P&L modeling for new and existing business units.
• Drive improvements to bid and quote/pricing processes and tools to enhance recommendation quality and decision-making cycle time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support implementation of proposed processes, including creating training/support materials and developing business rules while monitoring their effectiveness.
• May be required to assess competitor price positions and price strategy, identify similarities and differences, and make recommendations as needed.

Basic Requirements

We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Intern to join our team for a minimum duration of 3 months. In this role, you will analyze business data, automate processes, and present data-driven insights to help drive strategic decisions.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.

Data & Analytical Skills

• High analytical capability with strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with Google Apps Script programming and automation.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Ability to clearly articulate data analytics, thought processes, and insights to stakeholders.
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

Bonus Points (Big Plus)

• Practical knowledge in AI applications and programming/scripting.
