Purpose of the Role

To participate in the day-to-day activities of the Global Transaction Banking division, providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.

Accountabilities

• Execute small research projects to support strategic decision making; prepare presentations and reports to communicate research findings.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement research findings for Global Transaction Banking.
• Participate in the development of payment solutions for global companies, including end-to-end product management with risk controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and support the management of deployment and launch of new products and services for Global Transaction Banking.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support under steadily decreasing supervision, including responding to questions about products and services and processing transactions.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues.

Why the Global Transaction Banking Summer Intern Program?

The Global Transaction Banking summer intern program provides an understanding of the importance of payment products within the Corporate Banking offering. You will learn how we innovate payment solutions for global companies, mastering end-to-end product management with risk controls. The internship supports development of corporate product knowledge for a potential Corporate Banking career, and provides opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders, including technology and service partners, to offer insights into the bank.

Global Transaction Banking

The Global Transaction Banking division works closely with the Corporate and Investment Bank to support clients in their essential daily business functions. The division aims to become the premier provider of digitally empowered working capital and transaction banking solutions to clients domestically and globally. It is comprised of specialist teams focused on payments services, controls, change, data, customer experience, and digital initiatives.

Who We're Looking For

To be considered for this program, you must be pursuing an undergraduate degree and have a target graduation date within one year of the conclusion of this internship.

Ideally, you will have a can-do attitude and analytical skills, some experience translating data, and strong communication skills. We value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit, which may be demonstrated through extracurricular activities.

Working in New York

You will work at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and includes a cafeteria, fitness center, and state-of-the-art LED signage on the building facade.

Salary / Rate

Minimum: $100,000

Maximum: $100,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Eligibility to Work

To be eligible, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. You are responsible for completion of all documentation in support of optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
