The Global Corporate & Investment Banking business focuses on building long-term relationships with more than 3,000 large U.S. and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and financial sponsors. The group provides advisory expertise, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate banking, treasury, and debt and equity product capabilities, to deliver integrated financial solutions. Within a focused industry or product group, summer associates help orchestrate capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. The Summer Associate program is designed to provide a broad and exciting experience of work as a full-time Investment Banking associate.

During the summer, you will be placed within one of the organization’s industry, country, or product coverage teams. Training and development are a top priority, including extensive formal training at the start of the program, on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Your key tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models
  • Performing financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
  • Conducting comprehensive company and industry research
  • Preparing presentation materials and other materials for clients
  • Participating in due diligence sessions and supporting deal-team communications and interaction
  • Managing multiple projects at once and working effectively as an individual and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an MBA degree from an accredited college or university, with a graduation timeframe between November 2027 and August 2028
  • Track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, and client focus
  • Strategic and creative thinking, with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, and team focus
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
  • Dedication to building a career in the investment banking industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience post-undergraduate degree
