Position Description
At RSM, we work with large and small companies across various industries. This role will develop strong working relationships with clients by understanding their businesses and challenges. You will work on multiple team engagements each year, including several pieces of any particular assignment—not just one part. Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of worldwide tax minimization, transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes.
- Consult on international tax and transfer pricing planning, documentation, and policy implementation.
- Evaluate intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans through detailed economic, financial, and accounting analyses for tax and regulatory compliance using Microsoft Word, Excel, and various statistical sampling databases.
- Perform industry and market research, economic valuations, comparative financial benchmarking, and report documentation, demonstrating an understanding of transfer pricing concepts and method application to cases.
Basic Qualifications
- 90 credit hours completed.
- Working toward a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Majoring in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or Accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Minimal travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to, and ability to arrange for the use of, reliable transportation to those locations when applicable.
- Foreign language skills are a plus, but not necessary.
Compensation Range
$36 - $43 per hour
