Project Finance Intern

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027

Job Description

The role primarily supports the Shared Resource Team (SRT) within MUFG’s project finance practice, involving origination, execution, and management of financial advisory and limited recourse financing transactions in the power, renewables, oil & gas, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors.

Work Scope

  • Conduct analysis and run financial models to evaluate project bankability to support credit decision-making
  • Research and review relevant industry information and available due diligence reports
  • Prepare business and credit memos to pursue business opportunities
  • Generate presentation materials, pitchbooks, and proposals
  • Prepare credit papers
  • Perform other ad hoc and administrative functions, including KYC checks, client onboarding procedures, and data entry into bank systems

Job Requirements

Skill Set

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Good oral and writing skills
  • Ability to work with and eventually assist in building complex financial models
  • Basic accounting and a strong finance background
