Technology and Operations (T&O) – Job Objective and Responsibilities

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the bank’s operational processes and support business partners through multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Objective

This position is crucial for supporting the operations of Vickers trade processing, reconciliation, and settlement processes, including the EIS project. You will play a key role in adapting to market changes, such as new requirements like US trading 23x5 and HK T+1, and managing volume fluctuations in settlement processes for both online and institutional clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the team with ad hoc issues.
• Review end-to-end processing for equity trade processing and settlement, including:
  • Trade settlement
  • Stock reconciliation
  • IPO processing
  • Trade verification and reconciliation against term sheets
  • Failed trade monitoring
  • Coordinate with external parties (trade counterparties, custodians, etc.) on all trade-related matters
  • Funding arrangements for trade settlement needs
  • Audit coordination
  • UAT testing for enhancements or bug fixes
  • RSU and break reconciliation
