Responsibilities

(A) Build Solid Customer Base

• Serve as the “hunter” role for customer acquisition to drive customer growth.
• Assigned to branches of the network to source customers, including (but not limited to) nearby residential estates, office buildings, and government departments.
• Capture customer feedback and monitor competitive developments, then recommend suggestions to the Team Leader.

(B) Relationship Building and Account Servicing

• Open accounts, complete applications, and handle related customer documentation.
• Stay current with the latest product and market knowledge to demonstrate strong functional competency and professionalism when interacting with customers.
• Properly hand off “Treasures” customers to the TRM for relationship building and follow-up.

(C) Customer Experience Management

• Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Bank’s required service standards.
• Process and follow through on customer requests and enquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.

(D) Account Opening System Support

• Support ad hoc projects required by management or project teams, if necessary.

(E) Sales Governance and Compliance Control

• Adhere to the Bank’s policies, standards, operational guidelines/procedures, security requirements, and internal control measures.
• Comply with compliance and regulatory requirements and the code of conduct, particularly those applicable to selling activities, including sales staff licensing and fitness and properness, KYC, anti-money laundering requirements, and documentation completeness for account opening and each deal.
• Comply with the registered capacity and any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulatory bodies, including the applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.

Requirements

• Experience level: preferably 1–2 years of working experience in sales and service-related industries, ideally with exposure to Consumer Banking.
• Degree holder, preferably in business or finance.
• Must be a registered TR [Long Term (excl. linked long term)] with passes in IIQE papers 1 and 3, or equivalent.
• Preferably be a registered TR [General and Long Term (incl. linked long term)] with passes in IIQE papers 2 and 5, or equivalent.
• Preferably be a registered RI [Regulated Activities: Type 1 and 4] with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 and 8, or equivalent.
