About the Role

KPMG in Singapore’s Governance and Risk (G&R) Business is a market-leading practice that consults on solutions for managing and enhancing Governance, Risk and Compliance transformational activities. We provide comprehensive advisory solutions across areas such as Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Sustainability, and Accounting Advisory. Working with top-tier clients in both the private and public sectors, we are trusted advisors in the field and are currently looking for undergraduates to embark on an internship program with us.

The incumbent will work closely with Consultants from our G&R business and gain exposure within engagement across project teams, working on specialisations such as Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, and niche areas including Sustainability Consulting. This opportunity provides learning and networking as you build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, along with practical, first-hand experience toward a career in Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Support consultants in projects, including developing frameworks to address new regulatory requirements, facilitating risk workshops and governance discussions with C-suite clients, highlighting improvement insights on business processes, and advising on climate and sustainability topics across sectors such as Financial Services, Transport, Healthcare, Education, Real Estate, and Government.
• Build understanding of solutions and produce analysis, reports, or presentations outlining findings and recommendations.
• Deliver assignments to a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction.
• Work with consultants to assess and develop sound and effective assurance and internal control frameworks.
• Facilitate and support meetings and workshops, including preparing workshop materials, taking notes, and preparing meeting minutes.
• Work across a range of engagements, including advisory, assurance, and strategy development.
• Conduct core analyses and market research on reporting.

• Strong interest in Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Control.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity.
• Able to write clearly and articulate well.
• Business and Accountancy students are encouraged to apply; otherwise, open to undergraduates from any discipline.
• Relevant data analytics skills are advantageous (not a must-have).
