Job Description

Our team in Asia is experiencing exciting growth, and we are looking for passionate professionals who want to start or accelerate their career in Insurance, Asset Management, and Operations. You will be supporting programmes related to strategic and operational advisory for our clients in these industries.

Position Overview

As a Consultant, you will support the delivery of our programmes, while building your career around like-minded professionals that strive to implement market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office. Given the global nature of our firm, you will support clients from all around the world, typically focusing on Insurance Companies, Asset Management Companies, and Operational Excellence across Financial Services. You will also work with Sia consultants from other offices to leverage our global network and help clients deliver successful projects.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in projects with leading insurance companies, asset managers and financial institutions.
• Typically work with a team of 2-5 consultants.
• Contribute to the implementation and execution of clients' projects.
• Develop impactful solutions by analysing data, formulating hypotheses and communicating with stakeholders.
• Transform data into meaningful insights and solutions.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to growing the office with emphasis on high-quality client delivery, content development and business development.
• Work closely in a diverse and international environment with our other offices and leverage our global network to participate in cross-selling initiatives and share knowledge widely.
• Share consulting best practices with the team.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Engineering or Finance.
• 0–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior experience in insurance companies, asset management firms, operational roles within financial services, and/or as a management consultant serving these sectors.
• Fluency in English is a must. Business proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is highly advantageous.
