About the Team

KPMG’s Infrastructure Advisory team (Energy and Utilities; Transport and Mobility) is recognized as one of the leading financial advisors for infrastructure projects and one of the world’s leading financial advisors in public-private partnership (PPP) projects. The team provides financial advisory services across the lifecycle of infrastructure assets for public and private clients in major infrastructure sectors, including energy, utilities, transport, mobility, and social infrastructure. The geographical focus includes Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in the infrastructure asset class (energy, utilities, transport, mobility, and social infrastructure), including project financing, policy making, regulation, and a desire to learn new skills.

Internship Responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute in the following areas with guidance from your supervisors and team members:

• Provide advisory services covering strategic, commercial, and financial advice spanning the lifecycle of infrastructure projects to major corporate entities, public sector entities, and infrastructure funds.
• Support bid/buy/sell-side transaction and investment advisory and infrastructure project development advisory.
• Assist with public sector Public-Private Partnership (PPP) procurement.
• Contribute to financial feasibility studies, business cases, commercial model studies, and market analysis/market entry studies.
• Support project finance model building and model reviews, including project finance debt raising advisory.
• Assist with policy and regulatory advisory.
