About the Team

The Research & Development and Incentives Advisory team in Singapore comprises individuals with diverse technical backgrounds. The team assists local, national, and multinational companies across all industries to access government grants and incentives, such as the R&D Tax Incentive.

Responsibilities

  • Provide R&D and incentives advisory services to a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries.
  • Engage with senior executives on their investment plans and liaise with government authorities on incentives matters.
  • Participate in client meetings with the engagement team to discuss technical projects with technical specialists regarding development projects undertaken by clients.
  • Review technical and financial documentation provided by clients to assess eligibility requirements of business grant and incentive schemes.
  • Prepare technical descriptions of projects undertaken by clients that meet R&D tax incentive eligibility requirements.
  • Contribute to the preparation, application, negotiation, and management of government incentives.
  • Support project and engagement management, such as engagement scheduling, setup, and billing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients at all levels to deliver timely, high-quality professional services.

Qualifications

  • Possess a university degree and/or post-graduate qualification in an Engineering, Science, or Information Technology-related discipline.
  • Good project management skills, with very good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team of professionals from diverse technical backgrounds.
  • Meticulous with an analytical mind; capable of applying problem-solving skills to interpret complex, detailed information while working under deadlines.
  • Strongly driven and committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions for clients across a wide spectrum of industries.
