Invesco Fundamental Equities Summer Internship – Early Careers Overview

Ready to make your mark in the world of investments? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 9-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2027 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry professionals, and build connections that will last a lifetime.

In this internship, you’ll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and an inside view of what it’s really like to work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you’ll participate in initiatives throughout the summer, including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business.

Crush your internship, and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives
• Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management
• Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
• Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth
• Conduct valuation of target companies using methodologies such as comparable company analysis and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis
• Support the team in researching industry trends, financial statements, and market data
• Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to develop your technical and professional skills
• Join regular team meetings to understand our top-down macro investment process and performance metrics, including portfolio manager, client portfolio manager, risk, and research teams

Minimum qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and a rising junior graduating by summer of 2028
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
• All majors are welcomed, with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a business-related field
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investments
• Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in Invesco’s New York office
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis; Invesco does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program, including assistance for optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT)
• Relocation and housing are not included if an offer is extended

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
• Experience prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Prior internship in investment management (preferred but not required)
• Experience gathering and interpreting market data

Compensation

Compensation for this position is $40/hr.

Workplace model
