We welcome applicants who:

• Are an undergraduate currently pursuing a degree, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028.
• Can begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028.
• Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Are fluent in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing).
• All majors are encouraged to apply.

See Yourself As an Account Analyst

As an Account Analyst intern, you will work alongside Account Associates and broader client servicing teams to support timely, high-quality service across a range of investment strategies. You will gain exposure to economic and market analysis, portfolio structures, performance attribution, client reporting, and how data, automation, and AI-enabled tools improve workflows and generate insights.

Throughout the summer, you will build relationships across teams, strengthen your analytical and communication skills, and build a strong foundation for a potential long-term career in client management, product strategy, or other client-facing roles.

The PIMCO Internship Experience

• The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program.
• During Week 1, you will participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training, providing the skills, knowledge, and relationships to prepare you for success.
• Alongside your colleagues, you will participate in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering.
• Join cross-divisional education, networking, and social events.
• Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team will offer guidance and mentorship throughout the summer.
• You will build future-ready skills by using AI-powered tools from day one, supported by training that strengthens critical thinking, analytical capabilities, and professional judgment.
• You will receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process to help you meet your summer goals.

• As a PIMCO intern, you will receive competitive compensation, along with a transition bonus to help with relocation to one of our office locations.

What to Expect During the Interview Process

• After we receive your application, we will conduct an initial review of your resume.
• If you are selected to move forward, you will take a cognitive assessment and complete a one-way video interview to showcase your interests, skills, and personality.
• After you complete the assessment and one-way video interview, you will participate in a final round of live interviews via video conference. These interviews typically include both behavioral and technical questions.

Compensation

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach that includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
