What a College Intern - Electrical Hardware Engineering does at HP:

Required Qualifications

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• An undergraduate or relevant education background in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Ability to commit to a 5 to 6-month full-time internship, starting in January 2027.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software for schematic capture.
• Basic programming knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently (self-driven) and within a team environment.
• Knowledge of electronic principles.

Areas of Interest

• Electronics circuit and system design.
• PCB design and fabrication of test boards.
• Test automation development using scripting (e.g., Python/Visual Basic).
• Practical experience in AI/ChatGPT application development to support engineering problem analysis.
