Job Description

You joined the financial services industry to make a difference in the lives of your clients. At Fidelity, we have a relentless commitment to our clients—connecting, not just transacting. We empower professional flexibility, growth, and support to enable long-term success for you and our clients.

The Purpose of Your Role

Working in our Investor Center, you will develop customized financial plans through a wide range of products and services using your sound judgment, keen knowledge of products, and Fidelity’s planning tools. Instead of spending your time sourcing new customers, you will engage with existing clients and warm leads. This allows you to focus on providing investment solutions and growing relationships with a dedicated local advisor.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, or ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire.
  • Effectively utilize Fidelity’s guidance tools by presenting solutions and service offerings that best meet client needs.
  • Leverage technology to prepare for and conduct efficient one-on-one appointments, making the best use of the client’s time, and plan for post-appointment follow-up.
  • Grow relationships through proactive outreach by understanding clients’ goals and objectives, and refer them to a wealth management partner based on needs and financial complexity.
  • A degree and/or other professional certifications such as a CFP are helpful; if you don’t already have a CFP or degree, our Tuition Reimbursement program can help you obtain one.

The Skills You Bring

  • A comprehensive understanding of various investment solutions, and the ability to educate customers on the values and differences of each.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to grow relationships; you take initiative and exceed expectations.
  • Outstanding communication and consultative skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

The Value You Deliver

In this role, you will work directly with clients to help them make investment decisions in their best interest. By navigating Fidelity’s planning and guidance tools and presenting and implementing solutions that best meet client needs, you will have a lasting impact on the client’s financial future.

Please note this role requires in-person attendance in the assigned Branch location.

Certifications

  • Series 07 - FINRA
  • Series 66 - FINRA

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $59,000 - $74,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

We offer a wide range of benefits to meet your evolving needs, including comprehensive health care coverage, emotional well-being support, market-leading retirement, generous paid time off and parental leave, charitable giving employee match program, and educational assistance (including student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, and learning resources).

Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

Notes

  • Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
  • Fidelity’s business is governed by the provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, numerous state laws governing securities, investment and retirement-related financial activities, and the rules and regulations of numerous self-regulatory organizations, including FINRA.
