Overview

The Application Development Associate provides support on application development projects and helps maintain production systems for the Bank and its branches.

Responsibilities

Application Maintenance

• Provide first-level application maintenance support services.
• Review and analyze application issues, prepare solutions for supervisor review and approval, and execute the solutions after approval.
• Participate in testing and submit solutions to the supervisor for review.
• Assist with updating application systems maintenance documents.
• Ensure adherence to the change management procedure when implementing application solutions.

Application Development

• Conduct business requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business and system requirements.
• Assist with the development of the project plan and conclusions based on analysis from requirement gathering sessions, and present findings to the supervisor for review.
• Write application code in compliance with secure coding principles.
• Assist with the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of application projects.
• Conduct testing, including unit testing and system integration testing, to validate that new applications meet business requirements.
• Develop detailed application documentation.
• Adhere to the application development procedure when developing application systems.

Risk Control

• Execute processes in accordance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to control and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related subject required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of strong web page and computer program development and testing experience required.
• 1–2 years of experience with SQL scripts and data extracting skills.
• 1–2 years of IT project development, testing, and maintenance experience.
• IT industry certificates preferred.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, C Shell, Python).
• Strong skills in application software support, including modifying, installation, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting; strong ability to research and evaluate computer software.

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with the candidate’s relevant years of experience, skill set, education, and other qualifications.

USD $42,000.00 – USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
