Job Description
The candidate will support the development and enhancement of internal rating models, MIS reporting, systems implementation, capital computation, stress testing, and ad-hoc initiatives projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of rating methodologies. Perform ongoing monitoring and review of model performance, and maintain documentation of the rating model manual and relevant rating processes.
- Work closely with business users, risk management, model validation, and internal audit on model-related issues. Conduct training for key stakeholders and present to various committees for model approval.
- Consolidate, prepare, analyze, and enhance MIS reporting for the monthly PMU meeting. Provide advisory support to business users on the application of models and capital computation.
- Coordinate model-related systems development to ensure successful implementation of internal rating models and correct capital computation in systems. Prepare user requirements, liaise with IT, business users, and risk management, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in other ad-hoc projects and initiatives, including stress testing.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with 1–3 years of relevant experience in a financial institution is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong academic results and a positive attitude will also be considered.
- Relevant experience in Basel / MAS 637, credit model development, or validation is preferred.
- Strong IT, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Experience in QlikSense and Python is an advantage.
- Familiar with AI technologies and able to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot) to improve productivity and support decision-making.
- Team player with strong communication skills, able to interact with people across all levels.
- Organized and self-motivated, able to work independently under multiple tasks and deadlines.
