Tax is a dynamic, ever-changing industry. As clients’ needs and the regulatory environment evolve, you’ll encounter new problems to solve and opportunities for growth—whether advising on high-profile specialisms such as Corporation Tax or leading the implementation of intelligent technology solutions.

You will provide Tax Advisory services to start-ups and scale-ups, private businesses, and FTSE listed multinationals, developing skills through applying your expertise in different contexts.

Overview

In this role, you will work with a team to provide VAT compliance and advisory services for a wide range of corporate clients in the FTSE100, FTSE250, AIM, and private equity backed and privately owned businesses.

You will provide assistance to senior members of staff and communicate with managers, directors, and BDO’s partners on a regular basis.

How You’ll Succeed

You will be comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, while also collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and partners to help businesses effectively. You will be encouraged to identify opportunities to enhance delivery and provide additional services to organisations BDO works with.

What You’ll Bring

• Competence on routine compliance work
• Previous experience within tax compliance
• Tax advisory experience preferable but not essential
• Excellent knowledge of Tax compliance products, as well as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to demonstrate the keenness to develop a career within the profession
