IT Operations Management Specialist

The IT Operations Management Specialist ensures the Bank’s IT infrastructure, systems, and applications run reliably, efficiently, and securely day-to-day.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automated task/job scheduling via Control-M.
• Run manual batch jobs according to the batch job run schedule prepared by the Applications Team / Operations Manager, or as ad hoc requests from business and operations users based on documented processes.
• Handle backup media, including mounting and retrieving from the media library, and sending/receiving backup media to and from offsite storage.
• Maintain the catalog of backup media in the CIMB SG Data Centre.
• Monitor Data Centre CCTV and escalate any unauthorized entry or suspicious activity to the IT Operations Manager.
• Monitor server, network, and application availability through monitoring tools (Ops Manager and Apps Manager) and escalate to the relevant support teams for any system alerts detected.
• Monitor email alerts and escalate to the relevant support teams.
• Ensure security and safety in the Data Centre, and escalate any security breach to the IT Operations Manager.
• Provide after-hours and non-working day helpdesk support.
• Provide split password management services.
• Manage electronic Keypress system and CCTC system.
• Carry out release management tasks using Aldon LMI/LME.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in IT or relevant certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in Data Centre operations or application job processing.
• Knowledge of IT Operations and Data Centre processes.
• Experience with IT system alert monitoring & escalation, batch job handling, and tape management.
