Events Co-ordinator
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Co-ordinator to join our Europe Asset Management Events Team. This role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality client events across EMEA, both in-person and virtual, in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and assist event logistics and production planning for in-person events such as roadshows, conferences, roundtables, and internal programmes, including event plans, delegate management, attendee communications, and on-site support.
- Execute virtual events using the PGI platform.
- Build and manage event set-up, registration, invitations, delegate communications, and reporting using the events platform (Stova).
- Coordinate suppliers and venues (sourcing, proposals, contracting support, AV/catering/event production coordination), ensuring service quality and adherence to agreed timelines.
- Prepare event materials and presentations; provide project support to the Head of the Events Team.
- Manage event budgets by tracking spend, reconciling costs, supporting purchase order/invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Maintain the events calendar.
- Source and organise event supplies/materials and maintain inventory where applicable.
- Ensure all activity adheres to J.P. Morgan’s compliance, risk management, and brand standards.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Degree educated (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in event management, ideally within financial services or a corporate environment.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence interacting with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach; able to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience using event management platforms.
- Experience delivering virtual events and using event technology platforms (PGi).
- Experience working with complex registration data and database-style workflows (data accuracy, imports/exports, reporting).
