[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Plant Operations (Jan - May 2027)

Job Description

The intern will be responsible for the following:

• Understand the overview of the energy market in Singapore
• Understand the overview of Keppel’s integrated energy business
• Understand the overview of power plant processes
• Understand the overview of power plant operations and maintenance (O&M) and participate in general daily activities
• Support isolation works of the Operations shift
• Support general health, safety, and environment (HSE) for plant activities, including participation in safety walkdowns
• Support safety innovation project curation and execution
• Support performance monitoring of the power plant

Learning Outcomes

• Gain a better understanding of the value Keppel brings through power generation assets and vertically integrated business
• Develop a better appreciation of the energy business in support of Singapore’s energy needs and grid security

Job Requirements

• Physically able to climb steps and cat ladders in Singapore’s climate
• No color blindness or hearing deficiencies
• Knowledge and interest in power plant/process plant environments
