Job Description

The intern will be responsible for the following:

• Perform analytical monitoring on real-time solar systems using SCADA to maximize energy yield, detect hidden faults, and optimize performance.
• Assist Maintenance Engineer in developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment, including scheduling preventive maintenance and coordinating corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain detailed records of unplanned outages, maintenance activities, and incidents.
• Prepare regular reports on O&M activities, performance metrics, and total energy generation for stakeholders.
• Propose enhancements to monitoring systems and O&M documents, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Method of Statement & Risk Assessment (MS&RA), and Emergency Response Plans (ERP).

Learning Outcomes

Support the engineering team in the operation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role provides hands-on exposure to solar technology, system monitoring, and energy efficiency practices, along with opportunities to learn from experienced engineers.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and writing skills.
