[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Asset Operations (Jan - May 2027)

Job Description

This internship opportunity offers meaningful, hands-on learning for selected interns to understand, experience, and learn about asset management and building operations.

The intern will support a dual role covering two key aspects of running and managing the asset: (1) Leasing and (2) Operations.

Assets: Keppel South Central (Prime Grade Office Building) located at Tanjong Pagar, and Ocean Financial Centre (Grade A Office Building) located in Raffles Place.

Responsibilities

• Be fully involved in asset operations at Keppel South Central, including conducting viewings/visits for prospective tenants.
• Engage and service existing tenants regarding building and space requirements.
• Manage and work with outsourced facilities management companies to ensure the building is well maintained and operates smoothly.
• Engage external property consultants such as JLL, CBRE, and Savills to build a strong pipeline of prospective tenants.
• Support operational excellence by reviewing standard operating procedures (e.g., tenant fit-out guides, leasing processes) and proposing ideas for process improvements.
• Seek new alternative revenue streams for the building, including marketing and placemaking programmes; plan and organize programmes/initiatives/events to create a vibrant community and develop signature activities.
• Plan and execute tenant onboarding, working with the team to achieve set customer satisfaction and net promoter scores.
• Support tenant engagement activities during events and while assets undergo enhancement works.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments (e.g., new initiatives) as reasonably requested by HQ/department leadership from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Self-driven and able to take initiative; comfortable working with a wide range of people both within Keppel and externally.
• Strong communication skills.
• Some understanding of financial modelling.
• Preferably interested in and experienced with events organizing/placemaking/online content creation.
