U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of corporate trust services in the world. Our clients look to us for trustee, agency, escrow, document custody, and money market issuing services via our 48 domestic offices and three international offices.

The Loan Agency business in London manages a portfolio of 300+ deals and a wide variety of facilities, including jumbo leveraged, syndicated, commercial real estate, project finance, and direct lending style loans—where U.S. Bank acts as the facility agent and security agent on the transactions.

We are looking for someone to join the team who can bring strong client service, communication, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for lenders and borrowers in relation to the transfer process.
• Process transfers for a varied portfolio of deals, including leveraged finance, real estate, club deals, and others.
• Manage workflow for both primary and secondary market transfers, including signing transfer certificates, collecting transfer fees, and updating loan systems.
• Update KYC systems to add incoming lenders prior to sign-off on transfers.
• Perform weekly reconciliation of transfer fees due and chase any overdue or unpaid fees in a timely manner.
• Maintain lender contacts in Debtdomain to ensure financials/waiver/amendment requests are received by all lenders in facilities.
• Maintain lender contacts in the central address book where certain facilities are not covered by Debtdomain for distribution of financials, etc.
• Provide relevant data to maintain an accurate record of all transactions in the system database.
• Communicate with borrowers, lenders, and other relevant parties to resolve day-to-day issues and queries.
• Liaise with systems vendors to resolve issues.
• Work with internal teams, collaborating with managers and project teams to streamline processes and deliver continuous improvements.

Experience & Key Skills

• 1–2 years’ experience working in a Loan Agency function or a 3rd party agent, or a broader loan administration role.
• Preferably knowledge of the Facility Agent / Security Agent function in loan agency.
• Documentation review skills to review transfer certificate templates, assignment agreements, and accession deeds.
• Ability to manage your own workflow and handle a high volume of transfers.
• Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple demands while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the transfer process using Clearpar.
• Working knowledge of Debtdomain.
• Good Excel skills.
