Role responsibilities

  • Use existing tools to calibrate lower-level vehicle controllers (Throttle, Brake, Steering).
  • Use existing tools to calibrate upper-level vehicle controllers (Velocity, Brake, Steering).
  • Perform controller testing on the vehicle in static and dynamic conditions to verify and validate control calibration.
  • Analyze controller performance to meet requirements.

Required experience

  • Current students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
  • Experience with robotics projects.
  • Familiarity with fundamental control theory, including transient response and steady-state conditions.
  • Familiarity with programming in a Linux environment.
  • Flexible problem-solver with independent thinking.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ROS.
  • Experience with controller implementation (P, PI, PID, etc.).
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Eagerness to learn more about control theory.
