Role

Data Analyst (Intern)

At ShopBack, we handle large data sets to understand shopper behavior. The data team collects, processes, and organizes data, analyzes complex datasets to derive practical insights, and provides data solutions to stakeholders to enhance the ShopBack experience. You will support business decisions with actionable insights and contribute to millions of shoppers across 12 markets in which ShopBack operates. Your work will be directly linked to company growth and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Own business metrics and create reports/dashboards to measure defined metrics.
• Monitor current strategies and help stakeholders decide on future strategic directions.
• Build models to validate or invalidate correlations between actions and business performance.
• Develop a strong understanding of ShopBack’s data ecosystems and promote a self-service analytics culture as a data evangelist.

Requirements

• Minimum commitment period of 6 months, full-time.
• Solid knowledge of SQL is required.
• Good foundation in Python is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to convey data solutions to stakeholders.
• Self-starter who is comfortable working in a highly ambiguous environment where scope is driven by user needs.
