About the Hiring Team

Lightspeed Tech Center is an R&D department under Lightspeed Studios which develops PUBG Mobile and other high-quality games. Our Tech Center leads the research, exploration, and discovery of innovative technologies and provides technical services for all games during all phases of the life cycle, including engine, audio, QA, AI, next-generation game development, and technical cooperation.

What the Role Entails

• Research on state-of-the-art machine learning, deep learning, social-network data mining, and recommendation algorithms using game data; help design, evaluate, and improve core algorithms and strategies for online AI serving.
• Provide in-depth statistical analysis from large-scale data to mine user behavior and attributes and build user portraits.
• Conduct sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and summarization on massive user comments.
• Identify user pain points through large datasets and propose strategies to improve user retention.
• Improve data analysis pipelines by combining business requirements and data, utilizing distributed computation platforms to develop efficient and reliable data mining solutions.
• Research AI agents to upgrade and enhance existing pipelines.

Who We Look For

• A strong understanding of statistical models and related machine learning principles, with experience on data mining projects.
• Familiar with machine learning, deep learning, and recommendation algorithms (such as clustering and classification); deep understanding in at least one of these areas.
• Strong self-driven attitude, good teamwork, ability to work under pressure, and a studious mindset.
• Proficient in at least one programming language; familiarity with basic data structures and algorithms.
• Prefer candidates with research experience such as academic publications.
• Prefer candidates with NLP experience such as sentiment analysis, text summarization, LLM fine-tuning, and AI agents.
• Prefer candidates familiar with causal inference or optimization algorithms.
• Prefer candidates with big data experience and familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.
• Prefer candidates with strong logical thinking, communication skills, business understanding, and familiarity with game contexts.
